In our garden we have a lovely cherry tree and this year was the first year that we got any decent cherries on it. So that meant I needed to spend almost everyday for 2 weeks climbing the tree to “harvest” our cherries! The result was more Cherries than I knew what to do with:
This is just a small number of the cherries that we got from the tree and even though we did share them with the squirrels I had to think of what could be done with them. I started by putting them in with my cereal and salads but knew that was not even going to make a dent and so I got cooking making a number of different things which I will bring you the recipes of very soon. In the meantime checkout our local squirrel enjoying the cherries.
