Yoga Props At Home

So this is my first video post for you and it is not the expected yoga routine but instead something I hope you will find useful. The way I see it props are vital for any yoga practice. Although some may view them as cheating I can promise you they are not and they can actually be used to enhance your practice by getting you to activate muscles you normally do not.

The aim of this video is not only to show you some of the props you are likely to use but also to give you alternatives that you can find around your house. When you are first starting out with yoga it can seem expensive when you buy the mat and then all the props that go with it. If you don’t worry about buying props and just use the things you already have you are able to start a home practice just for the cost of the mat. On the topic of mats I will be doing a post later down the line giving you more information about them but all you need to know with this post is you can pick up a useable mat for about £10, this is a starter version and as your practice develops you might want to upgrade but that will do for now.

If you have any ideas for home props that I have not mentioned in the video please share them with me I really would love to know what you use.
