Cookbook Review – The Green Kitchen – David Frenkiel & Luise Vindahl

So this is my second cookbook review and I have to admit another one of my favourites. I have made so many of the recipes in this book and I always seem to go back to it as my main cookbook. Let me say that I first came across The Green Kitchen via their ipad app which I have to say is amazing. They have 2, one for all recipes and one that focuses just on their wonderful desserts.

All of the recipes from The Green Kitchen are healthy, vegetarian and full of flavour. Most of them are relatively easy to make and there are plenty of recipes that you will find are quick and great for the working week, including beautiful recipes like Portobello and Peach Burgers

There is a wide range of recipes including a number of salads, original breakfast ideas, really yummy and healthy desserts and to top it of a wonderful selection of juices and smoothies to keep you topped up with all your vitamins and minerals.

David & Luise also run a blog called The Green Kitchen Stories that has a wonderful selection of their latest recipes. You will get 3 or 4 recipes a month through this blog and it is well worth keeping up to date with them as you are sure to come across new ideas. I cannot recommend this cookbook more and I can promise you will not be disappointed.

Just a quick note that although the book is call The Green Kitchen in UK and Australia it is called Vegetarian Everyday in US.
